xoxo, kelsie

I am so happy you are here because it shows that you understand how important it is to have a relationship with your photographer. You want someone who captures images that reflect you and your partner; the way you two hold one another, the way you laugh, and the looks of pure infatuation you give one another.

When we all become a team, I am able to accurately capture your unique relationship. I am not the type of person who simply 'gets the job done.' I am here to communicate, guide, and pray for you every step of this sweet journey. Let's be friends and make something beautiful together.

To be honest, I don’t think I have been to a wedding I didn’t cry at. Now, more than ever, because I married my high school sweetheart and best friend, Joe. Knowing the sweet joys of marriage makes me that much more excited for YOU. Oh my goodness you are going to love it.

Joe and I are super passionate about traveling and seeing the world. So much so, that we decided to take our close friends and family to Iceland and have an intimate wedding ceremony. It was an absolute dream!

more than just a photographer

MEET Kelsie

Joe and I met in the high school cafeteria line. We only spoke a few words in passing but always admired one another from a far. He would always hang out in front of my locker before school, forcing me to say ‘excuse me’ every morning. That ‘excuse me’ slowly turned into sentences and then conversations.

My locker was a prime location in the school. It was in the center of everything. In a somewhat joking manner, I told Joe he could share my locker with me. But he took me up on the offer. 48-19-43 was our locker combination.

My Junior year and Joe’s Senior year of school, we were teacher assistants for a special needs class. We spent every 1st period together and it was through that class that I was able to get a glimpse of Joe’s incredible, selfless, gentle and kind heart.  It was after this when I fell for him. Hard. I am so thankful I did.

My love story.

WORD ON THE STREET

My little family is my world. They are my 'why' and my daughter motivates me to be the best I can be. Becoming a mom rocks your world but I am cherishing every gummy smile, chuckle, and babble.

Meet my little buddy! Rover is a mini golden doodle and he has brought so much joy into our home. My entire phone camera roll is of this fluff ball and I'm not mad about it one bit.

I love everything about coffee. I  love how it brings people together and encourages conversations. There is nothing better than sitting down with a good friend and catching up over a cup of joe.

One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is the opportunity to travel the world. Destination weddings will always hold a special place in my heart since my husband and I got married in Iceland.

Your images should be timeless. Despite photography trends, your images need to reflect you and your day so that you can tangibly revisit the day you married your best friend for generations to come. A specific editing style shouldn't get in the way of the authenticity of an image.

My goal with editing is to simply enhance your image. Give it a some warmth, showcase the colors that you specifically chose for your day, and keep skin tones nice and natural (no one wants to look like an oompa loompa in their wedding photos!) My blacks are deep and my whites are bright creating really awesome contrast.
